The internship is carried out within the framework of the thesis research of the Malagasy PhD students. This internship had as the main objective to analyse the energy efficiency and the electric safety in the district hospitals in Cameroon.
For that purpose, a training in the use of certain measuring and diagnostic equipments, such as the PQ-Box, the tellurometer was dispensed to them. Descents in hospitals (the distict hospital of Cité-verte in Yaoundé and the Medical Foundation Ad Lucem of Bafang) allowed to realize energy audits and electric safety. The analysis of results allowed to progress in thesis research.
Besides, the PhD students designed a software for the exploitation of a storage battery "NiNH " installed in the laboratory of CURES.
